7,107 islands and just as many opportunities – at least: hospitality, cultural experiences and natural adventure all converge in the Philippines. Travelers discover the variety of the Philippines, for example the smallest volcano in the world, underground rivers and the „Stairway to the Skies“ – as the Filipinos call the rice terraces in Banaue. Traveling around the three archipelagos Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao is quite comfortable as there are domestic flights, ships and ferries, connecting for example the capital Manila in the north with its impacts of the Spanish and American colonial era with many  beautiful beaches at Boracay or the „Chocolate Hills“ at the island Bohol in the south. More than 200 different kinds of fish and 400 coral species live in the sea around the islands in the Pacific Ocean and fascinate divers from all over the world.
